A global leader in health, hygiene, and nutrition is looking for a Test Manager in Barcelona (hybrid role) to join their team next month.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Test Strategy Management and Oversight:
- Ensure that the global test strategy defined by the Global Test Manager in the UK is implemented correctly
- Adapt and adjust the global test strategy to the particularities of the market and local projects, maintaining alignment with global guidelines.
- Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, ensuring their quality and alignment with project objectives.
Coordination and Communication
- Act as a liaison between the Global Test Manager and local teams, ensuring fluid communication.
- Regularly report on the progress, risks, and results of testing in the region, using globally defined test management tools and metrics.
- Collaborate with other Test Managers located in different countries to share good practices and solve common challenges.
Technical Oversight and Problem Resolution
- Collaborate directly with technical teams to implement and configure test tools and environments.
- Perform technical interventions in case of critical problems or to ensure the correct execution of automated tests, performance tests or integrations.
- Ensure testing includes validations specific to infrastructure, applications, and services.
Quality Management and Compliance
- Ensure testing processes meet global and local quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with applicable local or industry regulations in Spain projects.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to quality and testing.
Automation and Continuous Improvement
- Drive the implementation of automation tools and agile methodologies in local testing, aligning with the global vision.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and report recommendations to the Global Test Manager.
- Analyse local testing metrics and propose process improvements.
Risk Management and Problem Resolution
- Identify and manage risks in local testing, ensuring they are effectively mitigated.
- Directly intervene in critical projects or technical issues that may affect the fulfilment of testing objectives.
Required Technical Profile
- Solid knowledge in technical testing: Automation, performance testing, integration, and API.
- Testing tools: Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Management of CI/CD tools: Configuration and maintenance in Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
