2. TEAM AND ROLE


Business Developer @ SMB SALES TEAM

The SMB Sales team aims to build relationships with top customers to help them scale their business by reducing costs and boosting productivity by providing them with the best Tech Freelancers. If you have experience in the sales environment and you are looking to reach the next level, this is your opportunity to demonstrate your potential in the world of sales.


2.1 What are we looking for?

  1. 1-2 years of work experience, in technology consulting, in Head Hunter or in sales in the tech sector of high AOV products.
  2. You really enjoy selling and aspire to build a career in it.
  3. Ambitious and eager to grow at full speed in the world of sales. Familiarity with technical sector jargon. A degree in engineering or management, with a technical background as a plus.
  4. Knowledge and interest in the startup ecosystem.
  5. Great communication skills to build relationships with technical profiles and C-level executives.
  6. Strong conviction and results-oriented.
  7. Be familiar with KPIs, dashboards and analytics. Data driven profile 📈
  8. Proactivity & ownership.
  9. Strong persuasion skills. You make things happen!
  10. Creativity, every client is a new approach and a challenge for you.
  11. Both, Spanish and English language are a must


2.2 Your day-to-day as a Business Developer

  1. Prospect, run a benchmark, define a strategic plan and best of all... put it into practice!We want to evaluate your ability to qualify and generate commercial opportunities.
  2. Being able to understand the pains and problems of large companies and presenting the value proposition accordingly, generating curiosity and interest.
  3. Scheduling qualified meetings with one of the Account Executives.
  4. Reporting, metrics, and analytics: Analytical and retrospective capability. Reporting your activities on a weekly basis and your key objectives achieved.
  5. Drawing insights and conclusions at the end of each week.

4. THE RECRUITING PROCESS

One of the things that characterizes us as a startup is that we are very agile; we want to see results quickly, which is why we commit to being efficient in the recruitment process. The process consists of 3 interviews:

  • Round 1, People & Culture team: It will be an informal chat with People & Culture Team - Don’t be nervous, we just want to find more about you, your hobbies, goals, etc.
  • Round 2, Manager & Team: You´ll meet two people from the team. It's your opportunity to present the case study and prove that you're great managing clients.
  • Round 3, Founder of Shakers: One of our founders is really looking forward to meeting you. You’ll have the opportunity to take a coffee with one of them and chat about Shakers, our future and your expectations.
